Whilst we give a lot of advice here about how to protect your PC nothing can beat the help of a knowledgeable person. We are able to visit if you live within the Dorset region of the UK. Primarily we are based in the Bournemouth area but will travel further and provide a quote on that basis. If it’s within the local area we would normally charge between £30 (for one hour) and £50 (for two hours) to clean a system.
This is just to give you an idea of what we charge. There will always be the odd exception to the rule such as a computer which is infected to such an extent it would be more cost effective to back up the system and wipe it. The good thing is that if we do this, we will normally do it at your place so you can feel safe that all your personal data is being managed properly. If we have to do a backup and restore of windows you’ll probably be looking at £70.
